I chose to use several images from the Happy Spring set in slightly non-traditional ways. I stamped the balloon to by panel and colored it with Copic Markers. The rabbit with stamped and colored on a small scrap paper and fussy cut (the dies were not here yet!) I added some grass with a Copic marker and the balloon string with a Copic Multiliner pen. I thin added the rabbit. For my sentimet, I mixed and matched portions of two different sentiments to create a new combo. I love to stretch my stamps that way! Once in awhile I will even carefully cut the words apart to give the more possible options available!
This cute little scene is created with several of the new images from Happy Spring. The branch and birdie are stamped on Gina K white heavy weight yardstick and colored with Copic markers. I hand cut a small hill from the polka dot paper and adhered and used a double stitched rectangle die to cut the smaller panel. I stamped the clouds and sun on a separate piece of heavyweight white, and also colored with Copics then cut out. I used a panel of the black floral patterned paper, and some Turquoise Sea card stock to assemble my card, adding the sun and clouds overlapping the foal panel and the background paper.
Here is the inside of my card. Look how fun these flowers are in this garden of polka dots! The polka dots another of the fabulous paper patterns included in the Kit paper pack!
This single layer card was created on Kraft cardstock using the new incentive set, Through Thick and Thin. I stamped the flowers with Kraft ink, then colored with white and gray pencils to make the petals pop!
