Watercolor Hummingbirds

It's a fabulous Sunday morning.  I hope you are enjoying a fantastic weekend!  I am.  I'll share some pics from my weekend in a few days.

Today I'm sharing a card made with Watercolor Hummingbird from Technique Junkies.

This stamp is so fun.  It's wispy and fluid, just like watching a real hummingbird feels.

For this project, I wanted to create four of them to create the busy movement I see from the hummingbirds at the feeder.  I started with a square piece of watercolor paper and stamped the humminbird in one of the quadrants and then leaving my stamp in my MISTI, just turned the paper, so that I could stamp three more times in each quadrant.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the humming birds, then decided to paint in a spinning globe as well.  I penciled in a rough outline of continents and painted.  When completely dry I erased my pencil marks.  I added some glitter to the wings, and gold heat embossed the sentiment Life is Beautiful.

Visit Technique Junkies to see these stamps and so many more!
Feel free to use this code to save a little cash too!

Enjoy your day!
