New Challenge at Technique Junkies

Today is the start of a new technique challenge at Technique Junkies:  Bleach Blocking.

You can see the details and rules and linkup for this challenge as well as a simple tutorial on Bleach Blocking HERE.

Bleach blocking is really simple and the results are really fun!  Play along with us and enter for a chance to win a $25 Technique Junkies gift certificate!

My challenge sample card uses Distress ink as well as Distress Stains to create my background.  I then used a round sponge blender pad and regular bleach to remove color from my background panel.  I felt my circles of removed color looked so much like bubbles, that I actually used just a bit of distress ink and a paint brush to add just a bit of color back into edges of the "bubbles" to give then a bit more 3d look.

I then added Swirl Turtle and the Life is Beautiful sentiment in India Ink once the panel was completely dry.
