For today's challenge, I have created a Halloween party invite using IO Stamps and dies.

For this invitation, I started with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of heavyweight black cardstock.  I die cut the Halloween Scene from the upper portion.  I added bits of red plastic film to the reverse side, behind the eye holes of the bat, ghost and pumpkins, and orange film behind the windows of the haunted house.

I then used a inked a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Fabriano hot press watercolor paper using Distress Oxide inks.  I very sparingly used Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Wilted Violet, and Iced Spruce inks to create the swirled moon colors, leaving as much brightness of the original watercolor paper as possible.

I used Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive to adhere my die cut panel to my inked moon panel, them adhered to an a2 top fold Kraft card base.   I then stamped my You're Invited greeting on a 1" strip of pale yellow cardstock with Versafine ink.  I cut the left side into a fish tail flag, and adhered it to my card front, snipping off any excess on the right edge of the card.

Now it's your turn to make an invite!  Follow the link above to find the details and link up your invitation!
