I love this crab!  Beth Silaika has designed the next set in her series, Todd Turtle, and it's adorable.  I used the crab, stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloring with Copic markers  How fun is this cute birthday sentiment with it!  I used the fun wavy patterned paper from the Fishy Fiesta paper pack.

Now, I must have been hungry the other day when I made this one.

I think this sentiment is hilarious.  And I pictured the crab saying that as he is about to be cooked.  So at risk of hurting crab feelings around the world, I decided to sketch out my hunger.

I stamped the crab in Memento ink and colored him with Copic markers.  I then sketched in the large crab boil pot beneath him lightly with pencil.  I colored it with cool gray Copics, then erased my pencil marks.

Bon appetite!

I used the beautiful Perfect Poinsettia layers designed by Claire Brennan to create this  dimensional card.

I stamped my first solid layer with Innocent Pink, then stamped both the second and third layers in Dusty Rose.  The flower center was stamped with Lemon Drop, Honey Mustard and Prickly Pear.  I hand trimmed the flower and used foam dimensional tape to give height over the many leaves that I stamped with Jelly Bean Green, Grass Green and Fresh Asparagus ink.  I added the sentiment strip embellished with the pretty patterned strip from Nordic Winter and used patterned papers from the Delicate Essentials and Softly Spring paper packs to create the background.

This card uses the outline images from Perfect Poinsettia.  I very loosely stamped the leaves around the floral image using Versafine ink, then used Dr. PH Martin Radiant watercolors to color the flower and background.  Once it was fully dry, I used a piece of light copy paper to trace the stamped image, then cut it out for a mask, so I could stamp the Music Background stamp over the image to create the background.  The greeting was added in Black Onyx before adhering to a Kraft mat and a Fresh Asparagus cardbase.

  37. Beautiful cards, I love them all. I do love the little sea critters, though and I am trying to do this hop at almost 3am in the morning. Can't sleep, worrying about Irma hitting us here in Florida, and trying to be quiet about it and I almost burst out laughing at the what the shell card. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the laugh when I really needed it!
