New IO Challenge: 'Tis the Season!

Today I have used Impression Obsession Dies to create a very simple and easy to mass produce holiday card.

My card began with a watercolored background.   I used Distress inks as my watercolors on Canson Montval watercolor paper.  I die cut the European Buildings and my random star die from my watercolor panel, and inlaid die cuts cut from plain white cardstock in their place.   I used a piece of thin layering weight white cardstock as a backing, so I would have something to secure my die cuts to, and provide that white on white for my buildings and windows.  The teal Joy to the World die cut was adhered over the card front using Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive.  I trimmed the panel to 5.25 x 4 inches and added it to a navy card base.

Need more inspiration to get you going?
Check out all the projects from the IO Team!
