More Coffee please! MISTI and Joy Clair

Good morning!

I'm back home to the chill of Minnesota now, but I sure am missing the beautiful beach view I had in Florida.  White snow views are just not the same as white sand.  I miss sitting outside on the balcony, drinking my coffee, enjoying the view of the gulf in the mornings.  I guess I'll have to take comfort knowing that it is now officially spring, and drinking coffee at an unfrozen lake isn't that far away.

In the month of March, My Sweet Petunia and Joy Clair Stamps are celebrating a product swap partnership and are featuring projects created with the products from the two companies.

Since I'm still in my vacation "coffee at the water" mindset, I created yet another coffee card using my MISTI and two stamp sets from Joy Clair.

I used my Original MISTI to stamps the tea cup from the Christmas Cocoa stamp set with Antique Linen Distress ink on Fabriano Artistico cold press watercolor paper.  I used a pencil to lightly sketch in a saucer underneath the cup, following the shape of the rim of the cup.  I used Daniel Smith watercolors to paint the cup and saucer.  When those were completed and fully dry, I painted in the table and horizon.  I trimmed the panel down just a bit, and adhered it to top fold coordinating colored card base.  I cut a strip of the same colored cardstock, and snipped a triangle from one end to create a "fish tailed" banner, then used my MISTI to stamp the Enjoy your day! greeting from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set with Versafine ink and adhered to my card.

The Joy Clair blog is celebrating this March partnership with a anything goes challenge and giveaway.  Check it out HERE!

Enjoy your day!  Happy stamping!
