Gina K Designs Inspiration Blog Hop: Day 3

Welcome back to the final day of the  Gina K Designs April Release blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K and the illustrator team from Gina K Designs! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring the new  My Anchor Mini Kit.

This new kit has some fabulous images suitable for those hard-to-make masculine cards!  Isn't it perfect??

Hop through the blog list and enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team today and comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

This is a one layer card.  I stamped the lighthouse image and sentiment with Black Onyx ink.  I then masked the lighthouse as well as the edges of the card, leaving that 1 1/2" section where I sponged Blue Denim,  Blue Lagoon and Turquoise Sea inks.  I removed the masks and colored in the light beam and adding a bit of shading on the lighthouse with Copic markers.  I finished with adding some random splash-y streaks of Copic Opaque white ink to look like waves.

This card uses the frame from Holiday Frame.  I stamped it on watercolor paper with Versafine ink.  I stamped the sentiment and the deck image as well.  I also stamped the deck image on another piece of watercolor paper.  I used Sennelier watercolors to paint both pieces, taking care to keep them similar enough that I could die cut the deck image and use pop dots to adhere a raised portion to my image.

This simple one layer card uses Post-It tape to mask off the area I wanted to sponge in Prickly Pear, Kraft and Warm Cocoa inks.  I then stamped the sentiment and truck with Black Onyx ink.  Easy peasy birthday!

That's it from me today!  I hope you will follow along with our hope and see all the rest of the
