I hadn't entered challenges in a long time, but now I can't stop...
Today I'm playing along with yet another challenge. What's one more?
Actually this is two more, since this is a joint challenge with AAA Cards and Less Is More.
The challenge parameters for CAS Game #94 and Less Is More #336 & #337 are each:
a CAS one layer card
and a colored card base
I chose an Gina K Designs In the Navy 100# card base, and stamped the cluster of Calla Lilies from Sentimental Calla Lily with Versamark Ink for no-line coloring. The ink shows up realy well on the navy cardstock as long as you work rather quickly.
I left my Calla Lily stamp in my MISTI, because I wanted to re-stamp and clear emboss my image once I colored it.
I first colored the majority of the image faintly with a white pencil before adding the colors. This way I was able to get some brightness on the navy cardstock.
Once colored, I put my card back into my MISTI and embossed the image with clear embossing powder. It deepened the lines, without altering the color very much.
Then I added the sentiment with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
Thanks for visiting! Please check out my other challenge cards and the GKD Blog Hop in my previous blog posts.
