Today I am featuring this beautiful new floral stamp called Double Cone Flowers.

Double Cone Flowers (K16332), Smile (MC665) and Smile Die (DIE378-E)

I stamped this image with black archival ink on Hammermill paper and colored with Copic markers.  This was such a fun one to color with Copic markers, and I colored them similar to the very hearty yellow-orange flowers that grew in my mom's garden.  The Greeting is from the clear set Smile (MC665).  I heat embossed the "You make me" in white, and diecut the Smile die (DIE378-E) twice, once in black cardstock and once in Yellow-orange fun foam and layered the two together, with the black as a shadow.

Thanks for visiting today.  Stop by again tomorrow for Day Four of the IO Blog Hop.  Your next stop in the hop should be Daniela Dobson's blog.

  19. Your coloring is just stunning! I LOVE how the flowers pop against the black background but I never think to do that! I think even if I did, I would be afraid to risk messing it up after coloring the image for so long. Glad you are both brave and talented enough to do it for the rest of us to see how beautiful that looks :-)
