Hark! is a very detailed stamp which has the stunning angel in front of the sheet music background.
I stamped the Hark! image on white cardstock and sponged Distress inks from the edges in towards the angel, leaving her as white as possible. I wanted to create the look of marble, so I added some shading with warm gray Copic markers.
The card base was stamped with the Crackle Cover-a-Card background stamp (CC277) in Distress Oxide ink. I also used a foam blender to add color in areas of the card base. I trimmed out the Hark! panel and layered it with patterned papers of similar size. and finished it with dyed-to match ribbon (dyed with reinkers) and a small tag, stamped with the pine tuft from Winter Elements (CL690) and the Season's Greetings sentiment from Holiday Words (3189-LG). Can you tell I love the set, Holiday Words?? I think I've reached for it nearly everyday this week! It's such a lovely greeting set. It's perfect!
Thanks for visiting again today. Your next stop in the hop should be Daniela Dobson's blog.
