MISTI and Heffy Doodle Collaboration Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Sweet Petunia and Heffy Doodle blog hop.!

Today the My Sweet Petunia  and Heffy Doodle design teams are hopping to share projects featuring the MISTI as well as many of the fantastic products from Heffy Doodle.   Hopefully you have arrived here from Lesley Oman's blog, but if not, and you wish to start the blog hop from the beginning, please click HERE

Today I am sharing a trio of clean and simple cards created with the Happy Snappy Crocs stamp set:

I began by placing many of the images into my original MISTI.  I stamped onto Fabriano Artistico cold press watercolor paper and stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

I used the MISTI bar magnet to keep my watercolor panel secure as I added color to the images.  I used Brea Reese glitter inks to watercolor the images.  These inks are hard to put away.  They are relatively new to me, and I love using them as the 14 available colors are so are simple to use and blend.   I put just a drop or two of the concentrated ink onto my palette, and used my Faber Castell waterbrush to pick up ink and apply to my stamped panel.

I then used the coordinating Happy Snappy Crocs dies to die cut all the images with my Big Shot.

I used these adorable images to create three clean and simple styled cards using a white top fold A2 card base.  Leaving lots of white space, arranged the a few of the versatile greeting stamps on the lid of my MISTI and stamped them with VersaFine ink.

For my third card, I placed the word "Happy" in my MISTI, and stamped it in the centered on my card base, then shifted my card base (not the stamp), to the left and the right of the center of my first "Happy", and stamped it two more times.

I added the sentiment from the Lucky Friends stamp set below my image.

One more card I have to share today uses the Lucky Friends stamp set as well.

I stamped the leprechaun image and four-leafed clover images in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Hammermill 80# Digital Copy Cover paper, and colored with Copic markers.  I hand trimmed out the images with scissors.  I adhered the images with liquid glue to a panel of that I had added a loose pattern of watercolor splotches of yellow and greens and added it to a coordinating green mat.   I cut two paper strips, one white, and one of the same coordinating green.   I stamped the greeting with a Grass Green dye ink onto the 1/4" strip of white paper and cut tiny triangles from both strips and layered under my image.  The finished matted panel was added to a side fold white card base.

  26. I love how so many people are pulling out the croc. It's such a fun image. I've never seen those particular shimmer/sparkle watercolors before, but it looks really nice. And I love the green combo of markers you used on your leprechaun's clothes. I don't think I've seen that one yet, but it's really speaking to me. Thanks so much for sharing and participating in this hop!
