Let your Dreams Fly

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a quick card that makes me think of spring.  It's sunny and slightly warmer than is has been.  The snow is melting off the roof and creating icicles outside my craftroom window, so I guess it's time to think spring.  For a few days at least, until it snows again.

This rainbow of pretty butterflies was creeated using the Joy Clair clear stamp set, Butterfly Kisses.

I used my original sized MISTI to stamp both the large grouping of butterflies and the greeting simultaneously with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto an 1/4 sheet of Hammermill 80# Digital Color Copy Cover paper.  I love that paper weight and use it often, as it is a very inexpensive yet is a very Copic marker-friendly paper.

I used a variety of bright colored Copic markers to fill in the many butterflies, following a loose rainbow color order.  I then trimmed the panel, and added a very thin bordered black cardstock mat, a wider orange mat, and adhered to a top fold white card base using liquid glue.

A quick, simple card to brighten anyone's day!  Even mine!

Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
Thanks for stopping by!
