Happy Monday everyone!
This week I am excited to share another 5 days of posts as a GIU, a Growing In Unity girl! Last year I was fortunate to be selected as a Growing In Unity guest designer, and I was thrilled when the opportunity was available again in 2018! I will be sharing a post each day this week, Monday through Friday, each day featuring at least one project created using Unity Stamps.
Unity Stamp Company is a family owned company from right here in central Minnesota. Their company produces very excellent quality red rubber cling mounted stamps, and I love them. I have had the opportunity to meet several of the company owners and am very proud to call them friends and I love to support them!
Today I have this card and video to share with you.
This card was created on Kraft cardstock, using one of the stamps from the April 2018 Unity Kit of the Month, Eyes of the Beholder and the sentiment from Special Wishes.

I used my Original MISTI to stamp the large rose floral image with Distress Oxide ink. I also used a small brush to very quickly and easily paint in the image using Distress Oxide ink and Gina K. white pigment ink.
Check out my technique and easy shortcuts and hints here:
Unity Stamps graciously offered prize packs filled with 25 random stamps to two of my blog followers this week. If you would like to be entered for a chance to win 25 fabulous Unity stamps, please leave a comment! I promise to read every one!
Thanks, and I'll be back tomorrow for Day 2!
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteOmg! Love this card and especially appreciate your instructions to tie the bow! I also have long nails, acrylics, as when I was going through cancer treatments, my nails basically peeled and snagged Everything! So, acrylics it has been ever since. I love them but do find it hard to do small hand coordination things! Thank you so much! Hugs 🤗

ReplyDeleteOMG this card is so beautiful! I love your technique and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAs always, the card is awesome and I love it. I just have one question. Why do you work with your inks to the left and have to cross in front of yourself and your card every time you need to get more ink? Would it not be easier to have your ink to the upper right of your work? Just wondering. Does this take me out of the running for winning a prize? Lol!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is just stunning! What a fabulous image
