Hello! I'm finally settling into a fall routine, and finding time to play with some of the great products I've accumulated over the past several weeks (months), and hope to post more often. I'm trying to get into a habit of filming my projects in case I find time to edit and finish a video. (But we all know about lofty goals... )
Today I'm sharing a quick watercolored card using Altenew's Hello Gorgeous stamp set and their recently released watercolor pan set. I certainly didn't need more watercolors, but I was unable to resist. I don't regret my purchase. Although it's not going to replace my other favorites, it's an inexpensive, yet decent travel set, and is comprehensive enough to be a simple and portable set for cardmakers.
I stamped and heat embossed this floral image with Rose Gold embossing powder onto Fabriano Artistico cold press watercolor paper. Then used my Faber Castell waterbrush to paint the flowers.
Once my panel was dry I used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment multiple times with Lovely Lavender ink, then cleaned my stamp and restamped again with embossing ink, and heat embossing with clear.
