Happy Halloween!
Today I'm sharing a glittery card made for a special princess. This is for a little girl who loves everything pink, glittery and magical, and I'm quite sure will be wearing a similar costume this evening while making the Trick or Treat rounds.
I used my Original MISTI to stamp the Unicorn from Concord & 9th's Unicorn Awesomeness onto 100# Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then lightly colored using very pale Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to die cut my colored image. Using a protected surface area, I used Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive to add a light layer of adhesive to the front of my die cut, then covered it with Nuvo Pure Sheen Diamond Glitter.
I created the background using stencils and blending brushes. I used Make Some Plaid to ink my white card base with Altenew Pink Pearl ink. I used the Festive Stripes stencil to create another panel brushing in wide stripes of Pink Pearl and Dew Drops ink. Once I had my panel inked, I used a large Spellbinders circle dies to cut my focal circle from it as well as a scalloped mat from a pale blue cardstock.
I assembled the card, first aligning my scalloped die cut onto my card base while in my MISTI, then aligning and stamping my greeting in Amalgam ink. I then adhered my die cut layers using liquid glue, and finally adhering the glittered unicorn with foam adhesive tape.
Thanks for stopping in! Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
