Effie will choose one winner per day (4 winners total) and announce the winners on The Ton's blog by January 12. The comment period for these giveaways will close on January 11 at 7pm EST.
Today a have several cards to share with you. My first was uses the new Peony Close Up Cling Background stamp.
This is an amazing 6"x6" rubber cling stamp, that is just gorgeous, and so much fun to color!
I chose to use my Original MISTI to stamp this large peony onto a piece of Fabriano Artistico cold press watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then chose Daniel Smith watercolors as my coloring medium.
After painting, and when fully dry, I trimmed the panel down to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to a top fold A2 card base. I die cut the word "wishes" from white cardstock using Bold General Greetings Word dies, leaving the letters in tact within the negative. I used a blending brush to add Red Sangria ink to the lower half of each letter before removing them from the negative.
I added foam tape to the back of each of the letters, then used the negative as a template for placing the letters on my watercolored panel, carefully adhering the letters in place, then lifted the negative away from the panel.
I stamped the happy birthday from Nesting Peonies also on white cardstock with Red Sangria ink, and trimmed it down to nestle in above the E and S of wishes, and added it to my panel with foam tape.
I also played around with Today's Cosmos set.
This set has such amazing detail, that I decided to just let the images do all the talking, so I stamped it with embossing ink onto vellum and heat embossed it in white. I added the vellum over a pink card base and added a few clear gems.
I loved the veining on the embossed leaves from Today's Cosmos, so I decided to make anniversary cards using only the leaves. I set up the stamps in my Original MISTI to stamp slightly off the A2 card panel. I stamped with embossing ink and heat embossed. Then I rotated the panel in the MISTI and did the same to the other side. I was able to stamp multiples and heat emboss with different colors. I then reset my stamps to fill in the openings and did the same: stamped and embossed one side, then the other on each panel.
I used the Double Stitched Rectangle dies to trim the panels down, cut coordinating mat layers and assembled my cards by using a layer of foam tape between the card base and the matted focal panel.
That's all from me today, but there's more to see in today's hop!

Clothes are always a great idea for a woman, too. And cards are a great solution if you are celebrating an early anniversary especially--such wedding anniversary quotes as a two-week anniversary--when too many anniversary gifts or expensive anniversary gifts might end up giving her the wrong idea.
ReplyDeleteTo mesmerize a love one during your wedding anniversary is the most fascinating experience one can ever have. For sure, it will be treasured forever. condos for sale in oakville
