Way to Glow!

Hello everyone.

I'm still hiding out from the cold weather.  Even though the sun is out,  that -29 below wind chill has me thinking that being in the craft room really isn't the worst place to be!  They have cancelled school again for tomorrow already, but hopefully it will warm up a bit by tomorrow afternoon!

I had shared a card the other day, and was asked to give more information about it, today I decided to make a similar card, this time with my camera on.  If you are interested in the video tutorial, it is linked below.

Today, I decided to try slightly lighter ink colors for my card.  (I have thoughts of using this technique on future Easter cards, and wanted to test the colors so I can use it on eggs and bunnies this spring.)

The light bulb stamp that I am using, was from a Brutus Monroe stamp of the month, I don't think it is available anymore, but you could use any light bulb or even ornament stamp from your stash for this card.    I am also using my Original MISTIInkon3's Fade Out ink, 80# Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover paper, 3M's 2" wide Post-it Tape, Taylored Expressions' Pine Bough Background stamp, several Gina K. Designs' inks and Copic Markers.

The Copic markers I used today are:
RV 21, 32 and 34
Y 11, 13 and 15
BG 11, 13 and 15
Y 31, 26, and 28
G 28

Here is the video tutorial is you are interested:

Thanks for stopping by today!  Enjoy your day!
