Happy Day

Today I'm sharing another very simple card using a new March release stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  This is that is very quick to make and can be used for a variety of celebrations.

Today I used the Spatter stencil.

I inked up this stencil using Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide inks.  I started in the center of the stencil with Festive Berries, and worked my way out, cleaning my brush on a damp towel before moving to the next color, in ROYGBIV order.

I trimmed my kraft panel to 4" x 5.25" and added it to a royal blue cardbase.  I added the word die cuts from Oh Happy Day Shaker Dies (from The Stamp Market).  The Oh Day is cut from the same blue as my card base, but the orange Happy is cut from adhesive-backed, craft fun foam for a fun and easy raised texture.
