New Technique Junkies Challenge: Crinkled Watercolors

Happy Monday everyone!

Today is the start of a new challenge at Technique Junkies!

  Crinkled Watercolors

This is a really fun technique.  If you've never tried it, I recommend starting HERE for a simple tutorial.

Here is my take on the Crinkled Watercolors challenge:

Crinkled Watercolors background, The Right Shoes (#SD610)

I used Gansai Tambi watercolors on Bristol Smooth paper.  And rather than use tissue paper, I used plastic wrap to create my crinkles.  I left the plastic wrap on my paper for 10-15 minutes before carefully peeling it off.  The focal image stamp is The Right Shoes, from Technique Junkies.  It was stamped on Canson Montval watercolor paper and I watercolored the shoes with Daniel Smith watercolors.
