It's day two of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Today I am using another mix of stamps.
This is Disco Donna from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I love her. She's sassy and sexy and feisty in that self-assured "Don't Mess With Me" kind of way. When I colored her in that red dress the other night, I just thought she just looked ready to take on the world.
But how do you do that without coffee?? Seriously.
So I gave her a cup.
I stamped Donna with Fine Linen ink on a piece of Fine Linen cardstock from Papertrey Ink. She's colored with Polychromos pencils. I altered her hand just a bit to make her hold a cup of coffee, then when finished, carefully taped my deckled rectangle die down and a little bit at a time, die cut the it leaving her hand and sleeve area uncut. I cut those out with my Penblade. I quickly drew a small cup that would fit in her hand and also cut that out.
My background is pretty simple. A Kraft card base, a black mat, and a strip of corrugated paper from the Brutus Monroe Midway paper pack. Gotta tie in that coffee theme. It's a cardboard coffee sleeve!
My sentiment is from Lil' Inker Designs' Snarky Sentiments. I stamped it with Versafine then cut it into strips and added it to my card with a bit of 3M foam tape.
Thanks for stopping in!
Have a Grande Day.
