Some of my summer favorites

I said I would blog some of my favorites from my summer crafting over the weekend, but it was harder to choose favorites than I thought!  There are so many that I love; whether I was using old favorites, or brand new, or new-to-me companies.

I tried to narrow it down to just a few.

These layered strawberry stamps from Strawberry Jude Stamps were crazy amazingly fun to stamp.  I still can't get over how real they look!

These gorgeous daffodils from Gina K Designs?  They were so fun to color with Polychromos pencils over Copic marker.  Fussy cutting wasn't quite as much fun though.  I sure am thankful for my #15 PenBlade!

I had to watercolor these Spring Daisies from Altenew with my Dr. PH Martins.  I experimented with several colors of shading.  And learned a lot.  LOL

This one is still my absolute favorite:

These are The Ton's Honey Bears, colored with Copics.  I made this one for the boy and sent it to him at camp.  (And he actually saved it!)

My friend Lou got me hooked on Unity Stamps with this gift of Aleah Girl.  Painting faces on these faceless Angie Girls became a favorite challenge of mine in August.

I just giggle when I work on these Art Impressions stamps with Copics.  I picked this one up at the Rubber Stamp Expo earlier in the summer.

And this Mondo Hydrangea from Ellen Hutson....  I just love this stamp.  I've used it many times.  This one is embossed and water colored, and layered over a distress ink blended panel.

And finally,

This cake ...  My friend Emily shared her two favorite Zig Marker colors with me and gave me a pack of her custom mixed sequins.  I put them all to good use in this Concord & 9th cake shaker card.

Thanks for visiting and reminiscing with me! I'll be back soon with some more fun stuff soon.

Until next time!
Chris
