Growing in Unity: Day Two!

Today I am sharing my projects for Day Two of my Growing in Unity week.  What a fun experience!

I fell in love with Unity Stamp Company last summer after receiving an Angie Girl stamp kit as a gift, and have ordered regularly ever since.  I featured that gift stamp set in yesterday's post.

Today I am sharing a set of four watercolored cards made with some of the stamps designed for Unity Stamps by Phyllis Harris.  These stamp kits are all beautiful scenes that are so fun to watercolor and I have added quite a few to my collection.  The ones I chose to use for today's post are ones I selected because they seemed to cover the four seasons.

Here is the foursome all together.

Each card was stamped on Canson Montval watercolor paper with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then watercolored using Sennelier watercolors.

For my Spring card, I used the set Let Love Fly.  I love painting hair, and these little girls have beautiful hair to paint!

My Summer scene was created with the image from Brandy & Emma Goodbye, but I used the sentiment from Sense of Wonder.

For the Fall card, the image and sentiment are from Felt With The Heart.  Isn't that horse beautifully drawn?  I love it.  It's just such a touching image.

And finally for my Winter card, I used the image from A Beauty All It's Own, paired with a sentiment  from the Special Wishes sentiment set (designed by Lisa Arana for Unity.)

I'll continue to be a GIU Girl for three more days, and will be sharing a new project each weekday this week.  Please stop back tomorrow for more!

And...  if you choose to leave me a comment each day?  You have a chance to be one of two winners of a gift of 25 random stamps from Unity Stamp Company!  So please do so!
Thank you for your sweet comments on yesterday's post.  I read and appreciated each and every one!

Have a lovely day, and I'll see you tomorrow!

This week I am challenging you to use white pencil to highlight your images stamped on Kraft card stock. Here is the example I made up using the beautiful Vintage Roses stamp set. I lightly stamped my image using white ink. Once it was dry, I added white and gray pencil to color the jar and flowers, and colored the leaves in greens.
I cut my tag shape and black mat. Then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Scripty Love, then added it to another black matted panel stamped with the Music Background stamp and adhered everything to my Kraft card base.

Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what you do!

Here's the fine print:
