Technique Junkies May New Release Blog Hop

Good Morning!!

I have two posts today.  If you are looking for the Gina K Foil Mates Blog Hop, please click here.

But I'm glad you stopped by.  I have some exciting news to share!!!

Since I am such a stamp junkie, I'm terribly excited to share that I have been invited to join the creative team at Technique Junkies!  I'm excited to join this fabulous group of artists to help share and promote Technique Junkies' wonderful red rubber stamps and amazing selection of mixed media products and tools.

Today I am hopping with them to share the new May products.  All products are available now!!

This stamp...    Big Dreams

I loved it the second I saw it.  It just spoke to me.

Isn't she lovely?

I had to color her.  I had brand new stamps, and brand new Chameleon Color Tones pencils that I needed to test.
I had to see if I could get skin tones out these 25 pencils.

And I did.

I love these pencils.  They are fabulous.  They are very intensely pigmented so they can achieve a huge range of value.  They color smooth as butter, yet keep a point remarkably well.

AND...  you can purchase them HERE, on sale...

Did you know that ALL the new release
products are 15% off through May 8th??

I stamped in black on kraft paper and used just 4 pencils (double-sided) to get some really beautiful skin tones.

I just love her.  She's so pensive and angelic.
I wanted her to be sitting in her treehouse dreaming of her future.

In fact I loved this little girl so much I watercolored her as well.

That's it from me today, but there's so much more to see...

Check out the whole new release here, and all of the team's featured projects by hopping along!

Here is the Technique Junkies team list:

  1. Now you have some MAD coloring skills with the pencils. I have not been able to master pencil coloring and typically go to Copics instead. I don't have the patience to build up layers required, but my friend - you've really outdone this one. Great to have you on the TJ Team. Happy Hop!
